Antique gate marked #7 Southern Mystery Skillet with heat ring. Circa late 1800’s-1900. SMS were produced throughout the South in the late 1800’s. There were many foundries that either kept no records or their records were lost. Raised 7 on the handle. Great old piece of history to add to your collection 
Professionally restored and seasoned 3x and ready to use. This one has a beautiful smooth cooking surface. Measures approximately 9-3/4 inches wide and 2 inches deep. Sit flat on glass with no spin or wobble. Cooking surface is slick as glass. Has a few casting flaws that give character to the skillet. No pitting, chips or cracks
